S. M. Lawrence Co. has a long history of successfully providing engineered solutions to our customers. Our engineers and project managers work closely with each customer to determine the best solution for each specific application.  They are capable of providing design services for all internal building utility systems and have designed countless systems from the ground up for new buildings.  They also have experience with correcting problems in existing buildings and providing solutions for renovations and “old” problems. 

SML’s project management and design team always keep cost, energy, and environmental impact in mind when providing a solution and never provide an unsatisfactory product by cutting corners.  Customer satisfaction and quality work are a standard they live by, which is why so many of their projects are with repeat customers.

The engineers at S.M. Lawrence Co. have vast experience in designing industrial, commercial and institutional mechanical systems.  They can design plumbing, HVAC, piping, process piping and process ventilation systems in-house and can manage electrical engineering from consultants that we work closely with.

The engineering department uses the latest editions of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP and Revit.  Navisworks is also used to coordinate their 3D and BIM projects.  They have significant experience with BIM and have used it successfully on a number of projects where all trades had to coordinate work before construction.  They also have the capability of running energy models for existing and prospective facilities and have completed several LEED certified, silver and gold projects.
